Web Marketing
Client Computac Incorporated
Problem: Computac Incorporated, is a software company from West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Recognizing the power of web marketing and just how many people are using the web more and more everyday, Computac decided to seek professional help in developing their new web site. In addition to web marketing, Computac sought to bring more exposure to their three divisions – Transportation, Retail and Distribution – through the web site. The overall, emphasized goal was to create a substantial web marketing presence while achieving these goals.
Solution:
The solutions we proposed for
Computac addressed their primary
concerns regarding web marketing
and web presence by increasing
the amount of content that was
in their original site and building
a sitemap that supported a list
of important keyword phrases.
Additionally, we showed them
how they could more effectively
market their products by creating
high-impact visuals for their
product lines. These visuals,
along with an increased number
of screen shots of their products,
allowed them to more effectively
carry out online demonstrations.
Results: Upon entering the web site, users will find a captivating animation that fades and cycles through three images – one for each division. Each graphic sends a strong visual message as well as a description of that division's offerings. Below the animation are three areas for each of the division's latest news highlights. Adding these news highlights to the home page shows visitors the company is dynamic and growing in their industry.
As for web marketing, the web site is built from the ground up to perform for multiple keyword phrases. The Computac web site currently ranks #1 in Google for 12 of their keyword phrases and is on the 1st page of Google for 23 keyword phrases. Current web marketing efforts will continue to improve their search engine rankings.
With the added
graphics and clean, user-friendly
navigation, division managers
are now able to virtually demo
product lines much more effectively
than they could with their previous
web site. The division leaders
liked the graphics we designed
for the web site so much they've
asked us to create trade show
graphics for them. The trade
show graphics, at their larger
size, are quite impressive and
are seamlessly unified with
the company's online identity.
The result is a stronger,
cohesive overall marketing effort.
